About
Built on Purpose. Strengthened by Partnership.
Since 1963, Vallonia Industries has helped individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build practical skills, confidence, independence, and connection through meaningful work and supportive services.
That work is made possible through strong partnerships with local and regional businesses. Together, we create real opportunities for individuals while delivering dependable production support that meets business needs.
Founded with Heart. Built for Opportunity.
Vallonia Industries began with a group of parents who believed their children deserved more: more opportunity, more support, and a meaningful place to learn, work, and belong.
With the support of local agencies, those parents created a nonprofit organization focused on vocational training, practical work experience, and community connection for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
What started in a rented space on Arch Street with just two individuals has grown into a trusted community resource supporting more than 70 individuals today from Crawford, Mercer, Venango, and Erie counties. More than 60 years later, Vallonia remains deeply connected to the vision that started it all.

Where Work Creates Opportunity
Business partnerships play a vital role in how Vallonia fulfills its mission.
Companies rely on Vallonia for consistent, detail-oriented production support, while each project provides individuals with hands-on experience that builds skills, confidence, and independence.
This shared approach creates value on both sides: businesses receive reliable results, and individuals gain meaningful opportunities to learn, contribute, and grow.
At Vallonia, work is more than a task — it is a pathway to greater independence and connection.
Trusted by Local and Regional Businesses
Over the past 63 years, Vallonia has supported 55 companies and organizations across industries including manufacturing, aerospace, printing, education, government, packaging, and more.
