Through Vocational Training, Community Participation Supports, Transportation, and Employment Services, we help individuals strengthen practical skills, build confidence, form relationships, and work toward greater independence.

No two people come to Vallonia with the same experiences or goals.
Our team works with individuals, families, support teams, and referral partners to provide services that encourage participation, growth, and meaningful connection.

Services We Provide
Vocational Training
Meaningful work gives individuals opportunities to practice skills in a real and supportive environment.Through packaging, assembly, labeling, kitting, and other production activities, individuals can develop workplace habits, follow established processes, strengthen focus, and experience the pride of contributing to a completed project.

Community Participation Supports
Vallonia provides Community Participation Supports in both facility-based and community-based settings. Community Participation Supports help individuals stay active, engaged, and connected through facility-based and community-based experiences.
Activities are shaped around individual goals and may provide opportunities to explore interests, practice social and everyday skills, build relationships, and participate more fully in the community.

Transportation Services
Reliable transportation helps make work, programming, and community participation accessible.
Vallonia provides transportation to and from services for individuals across portions of Crawford, Erie, Mercer, and Venango counties. This support helps individuals maintain routines, access meaningful opportunities, and stay connected.
Transportation availability may depend on location, route capacity, and individual service needs.

Supported Employment
Supported Employment services help individuals explore employment goals, prepare for workplace expectations, and build confidence through individualized guidance.
Support may include job readiness activities, skill development, employment planning, workplace preparation, and job coaching based on each person’s goals and needs.

Job Readiness Support

At Vallonia, job readiness is supported through meaningful work experiences and encouragement from staff who understand each individual’s goals and abilities.

Vallonia has supported individuals and families for more than 60 years.
Many of the individuals we serve have been part of Vallonia for decades. Thirty-nine individuals currently have at least 10 years of service, including people who have been part of the organization for 30, 40, and even 50+ years.
That longevity reflects the meaningful work, trusted relationships, familiar routines, and strong sense of belonging that shape everyday life at Vallonia.
